The Summer Arts Festival is the premiere, three-day arts event of the region held in conjunction with the annual Yankton Riverboat Days Celebration. The festival is held in picturesque Riverside Park which borders the mighty Missouri River. Held annually on the third full weekend in August under the coordination of Yankton Area Arts, the juried show features over 120 fine artists and fine craftsmen from around the country. Each year an estimated 100,000 people attend this community celebration.
Sidewalk Arts Festival, 2022

The Sidewalk Arts Festival (SWAF) is a FREE outdoor event with over 260 vendor booths featuring the region’s best fine art, folk art and craft artisans. Enjoy activities for kids, live entertainment, food vendors and more on the streets surrounding the Washington Pavilion. This event is a fundraiser for the Visual Arts Center at the Washington Pavilion and is the region’s largest one-day arts festival.
Living History Fair, 2023

The Living History Fair is a two day teaching show where students and their families can learn about our history.
Living History Fair will be held in Watertown on January 28th, from 8:00am to 3:00pm and January 29th from 9:00am-5:00pm at the Lake Area College Student Center.
This event is open to the public and is free, donations are welcome
